old sketches.

i started keeping a sketchbook purely for drawing (so i could improve). however, that quickly turned into a sketchbook for doodles and brainstorming homework assignment. i just finished the book, so i'll see if there's anything worthy of posting.

these are some sketches i made in 2008. (click to enlarge.)

drawing of my cat, spyder. i used to play world of warcraft, and my minion belgarth used to say the words in the speech bubble.


another one of spyder, on may 12, 2008. he's pretty fat. i'd say he's about (if not over) 20 lbs. now.

i would love to take a drawing workshop in the near future.

    I love sketches...I think the most informal forms of art say the most about the artist!

    i couldn't agree more! i need to start sketching again. i've abandoned drawing for fun/practice ever since school started. my sketchbook is just filled with sketches for class assignments.
